Mt.Everest.

Does anyone have a fascination for Mountains? - I LOVE Mount Everest and always had this 'daydream' of climbing it one day - but dude, I watched a docu on it and it gave me the heebie jeebies - It's SCARY and many people DIE climbing it!!!

Mind you, I have never seen snow, so have no idea what that is like to walk on, yet alone a mountain!!

Has anyone here been mountain climbing? - I have to admit, I'm a bit too much of a princess for camping, I wouldn't like the cold showers, no loo, and the general cold!! LOL!!

SO that's one daydream that I now have a erality check about!! I think hoping to meet Luke or aiming to grow 10 cm's taller is a more possible dream than me climbing Everest!!

I love to hike, love being outside, but climbing Everest is prob a completely diff thing!!

LOL... me is a nutter!! but maybe we could have a Chick Chat Climb!!! Anyone wanna????

I couldn't think of anything worse! LOL

LOL! I could climb a hill but that's about all!

OI I've been reading a lot of books about peeps that climed the mount everest. # writers wrote down the same couple of days that were very dreadfull days as many people died than, ofcourse they survived ( it would be hard to write abook about it, if not) it is so weird, the peeps all describe the same thing, but from different positions if you know what I mean.
If you like I can search for the authors...You can boorow them from me but than you have to understand dutch haha

I've been spending some time at 4000 meters and I didn't like it at all. Next winter will be between 3000 and 4000...not so keen on that either...
guess you have to find someone else for the daydreaming, even thinking of it makes me very tired LOL

We were actually tlaking about this a couple of days ago, as l've never seen so many hills in my life than l have in Scotland-even Wales doesnt have hills like Scotland does!!LOL And there is no way l could possibly climb Mount Everest-waaaaaay too high for me, my ears would hurt too much for a start!!LOL

all I do is get up a mountain by a lift and then ski down them !! LOL

Mind you I have never WALKED on snow, so don't think I"d go well at all cos I have a crook balance as it is!!

Apparently, one of the signs that 'you are loosing it' when on Everest is your balance goes. Dude, my balance would be GONE before I even got within cooee of it! - LOL!!

The docu was very scary. Gave me a real reality check!!

Siets, I know what you mean about the books etc. The docu I watched was like that!!

I LOVE hiking, but I think that's SO diff to mt climbing!
