Oh dear ...finally went to the doc..

This morning I woke up and couldn't open my eyes.
after a while and after cooling them down it was a bit better,
but now the skin directly around my eye looked very rough and was open on some spots.
so I finally went to the doctor.
It's eczema...

"nice" to hear that when you have hayfever OR eczema, OR astma,
you have a high risk to catch one of the others, for some reason they are related to each other.
( well I haven't got Astma thank goodness!!!!)
so now when my eyes are hurting and ichy I can't even rub my eyes as the skin starts to bleed aswell.
grrrr!!!! I have new eyedrops ( again) and have some cream for the eczema, wich I can youse for no more than a week,
otherwise it gives a rebounce effect ( you learn a lot from visiting a doc!)
anyway it means that I will end up with more eczema than I have now.

I feel sorry for myself and I look like a freaky horrorshow act LOL!

My god that must be painful ive been getting really sore eyes cos of hayfever too but not to that extent. I hope they start getting better soon for you, buy some cue cumber thats meant to sooth sore eyes

Aww no, thats awful hun, hope the new eyedrops help, its horrible when something itches and you are trying desperately hard not to scratch it.

oh no Im sorry to hear this Sietske, is indeed never nice to hear something like that. Hope the treatment kicks in quickly and the itchyness goes.

well...I woke up without thick eyes...so that's a start!
don't see any difference with the eczema, but I guess that would be too soon too!
i'm just glad I have also glasses with a thick black thingy ( montuur haha) so you don't see that too much..
oh there are much worse things on this earth, I know but I just felt so low yesterday.

Glad the swolling got down then ...

I know how it is when your eyes are all puffed up - I had an accident 5 years ago (you know me, MS.Accident!) and smashed my head at the top of my nose - had to go and get stitches etc - I couldn't see for 2 days cos my eyes had all puffed up and were black and swollen - It was crap dude!!

I get a bit of mild eczema - from stress - just in one spot in my elbow.... I just make sure I put special (natural) cream on it and it's fine. I hope you feel better soon Siets. xxxx

Yeah I am much better!
You hardly can see anything at the eye, It just feels ichy.
In the morning I put the doctors cream on, and before I go to sleep I put some stuff with loads of Beewax on it. It shouldn't dry out, but you can't put just any cream on in...well I thought beewax wouldn't hurt anything, and so it seems..so far soo good!

I'm almost back to normal haha!
