Tennis Anyone??

Any of you watching Wimbledon???

I LOVE Tennis (just wish I could play) and I stayed up til 5am to watch Lleyton Hewitt play!!

I don't have to get up early for anything, which is why I can afford to stay up so late. I am always loads better at night anyway - cos ME IS A VAMPIRE!! (now where is Luke's neck when you need it!!)

I have to laugh when they say how hot it is - 20 Degrees -that's our WINTER dude!!!!

Anyway, anyone else a fan??

yep i've been tuning in and enjoying it all so far - watch out for the rain next wednesday though as my mum is going so its bound to pee it down haha!!!! Then she'll be happy cos maybe her fave Cliff Richard will help entertain the crowds again LOL!!

nope I'm not into tennis, I don't understand the countings aswell! My mum used to play tennis and she watches it on telly. I just do not understand a thing of it.

l'm the same as Siets!! l dont understand it and find it very boring to watch! Although l love playing it(if someone else does the scoring coz thats what l dont understand!!LOL)

And Karen........ when will you learn, I am in fact MAD!!! - Thus why I stay up so late!!! LOL... You should ask your Mum to wear something really bright and I'll see if I can spot her on the Telly!! - I'll be well excited if I spot her!!...... Ha Ha Ha.. See. I AM.. Mad!!

I think I like it, cos it's not violent, like rugby (or whatever you call football over there....) where they all tackle each other and it looks ouchy!!! we call that Rugby League or just plain Rugby.

... I like watching soccer/football (not rugby - I mean the game Tim Cahill plays, what do you call that over there, we call it "Soccer" here......) too - but tennis is better - and the men are quite fit!!

I think Lleyton is rather sexy - not so much for his looks, but more for his fire and fight and passion... He does a "Chainsaw" and "Lawnmover" when he wins a good point. I'll see if I can see it on YouTube. I like his personality! He's fun to watch!! - A lot of players can show their personality, which they wouldn't be able to do in a team sport kind of way!!

AND one of the Aussie female players had my exact middle ear thing and she got totally better so she is my hero! Am gonna write to her to tell her how she inspired me and then we'll become best friends and she'll invite me to Wimbledon for free and I'll be sitting next to Prince Charles' box, with Luke on the other side!!!! (Joking Dudes!!)

You are right Fliss-football is the game that you call soccer, and rugby is the other one which looks so violent. l love watching football but not interested in rugby at all!!

yep I know about the violent. Tonight it's Germany- Turkey...there will be fights I'm sure of it! ( this is ofcourse about soccer for those who didn't notice LOL)

Fliss - i'll try and get my mum to wear something bright so you can spot her on tv then haha!! She's just bought a white hat to take with her so maybe i'll graffiti it up a bit with some dayglo ribbons so we can all play spot my mum LOL - She'll be on #1 court on wednesday

I watched the Andy Murray match and caught a bit of the Nadal match. I love tennis - I was at a tournament last week watching Pat Cash, Jana Novotna, Martina Hingis etc. Pics are on my facebook if anyone's interested!

I am rapt that Lleyon is still going - but EEEEKNESS - he has to play Federer next!! - Federer is a really great guy, and I do like him, but I would like Lleyton to beat him for once!!

I can't stand Nadel. He showed bad sportsmanship to Lleyton in 2003 and I have never forgivein him!! (he deliberately and obviously 'spat' at Lleyton)

I sincerely hope it wasnt my mum you was waving at fliss as she hasnt been yet haha!! its THIS wednesday she is going so you need to get waving at court #1 then and i'll make her promise to wave back!! She's not sure yet who'll she see as it all depends on the draw - will report back to you when i know more!

well my mum has gone off this morning up to Wimbledon and has taken my pink umbrella with her so watch out for a mad woman on Court One waving it about!! Lets hope the rain stays away so she gets to see a little bit of tennis!

mum is back home! she had a lovely day despite the rain delays - the lunch and cream tea helped fill in that time! - and got to see the lovely marat safin win.... and she also found time to hit the wimbledon shop and bring me home a tshirt!!! top mum i have!!

Awwwwwwww, how fab is your Mum to get your a gift - I LOVE Wimbledon so much that I have looked at the shop website and chose what I'd buy if I was there - a keyring, magnet, mug and t-shirt!! - All I need is a rich man, or just anyone rich will do!!

I would buy it myself, but it costs an arm and leg to get international stuff done. Be cheaper for me to get to the UK and by it myself!!

I plan to go there when I am in the UK even if there are no matches on, just to go to the shop!!
